My thoughts are that Master Duel can be a really good game if you don't play or actively follow TCG or OCG, but, in my opinion, if you do, enjoyment is significantly reduced. For example, if you play TCG or OCG you already know all the cards and decks that will be released half a year .Master Duel is split into two parts: the duel itself, and the interface in between other duels. During the duels, Master Duel feels and looks really good, but there are consistency problems and just odd things that have to be pointed out. Outside the duels itself, the interface works fine but has some serious problem, especially on Switch.
The Tama build often cannot even make Heatsoul with Terahertz even if you dump Dot Scaper. If your main game plan include dumping Dot Scaper to make Heatsoul, consider dropping Aggregator.
